Dorm Challenge
Come start of Welcome Week right with a full day co-ed competition between all of the residence halls at the University of Iowa!!! Each dorm will participate in various activities and events against other teams to battle for the most spirited and talented students on campus! Different organizations and groups affiliated with the University will be hosting the events so be sure to get information from them and start getting more involved on Campus. Within each individual residence hall a guys floor and a girls floor will team up watch out! The other teams in your dorm are fair game to beat you out! The Grand Prize will be given to the team of students who win the greatest number of events held throughout the day. Prizes will also be given out to the winning teams within each dorm and to the most spirited team participating. So be sure to show that Hawkeye SpIrIt! Our wonderful judges, including the President of the University and other members of the faculty and staff, will be watching and judging the activities throughout the day.
Not living in the dorms this coming academic year? Don’t worry! There will be a BBQ from 5-8pm open to all students. Just be sure to bring your Student ID!
